CKXU manages and runs a variety of local programs and opportunities for local musicians, volunteers from both the campus and community, and listeners. This includes:

  • Offering local musician resources and supports, including: live session recording opportunities, on-air interviews, local music mailout services, and the !earshot Digital Distro discount code for album uploads
  • Supporting local arts and culture-based events and festivals via sponsorship, donation of services, or on-air advertising
  • Hosting and providing live performance opportunities for local events and festivals
  • Providing sound and music support for local markets, events, and conferences
  • Providing an on-air platform for individuals and organizations to share diverse perspectives, local experiences, and a collective love for local music and arts
  • Providing free advertising services to campus and student-run organizations and clubs
  • And so much more!

Every single ticket, merch item, and general donation directly helps CKXU maintain these beloved campus and community programs, and gives CKXU the ability to continue to expand program impacts and reach.
