Volunteer Opportunity: Highway Cleanup!
Help CKXU fundraise $2,600.00 and volunteer for the annual HIGHWAY CLEANUP!
Every year, the CKXU Crew works together to help clean up the stretch of highway between Warner, AB and Milk River, AB. The Station receives $100.00 for each kilometre cleaned, and we need all the volunteer help possible to clean all 26 of our assigned kilometres to fundraise the total $2,600.00 amount. So grab a friend and sign-up for Highway Cleanup!

WHAT: Highway Cleanup Fundraiser
WHEN: Saturday May 4, 2024 from 7AM to 3PM
WHERE: Meet in the Canadian Tire SOUTH parking lot at 7AM
Supplies (gloves, high-vis vests, garbage bags, hand sanitizer) and snacks (oranges, granola bars, chips, juice, water, gummies) are provided. All volunteers also receive a free drink and pizza from Vesano Pizza and Theoretically Brewing Co. as a thank you for volunteering after the Cleanup!
