CKXU 88.3 FM Presents FUNDRIVE 2024: Broadcast Beatdown!

From October 18th to 25th, CKXU 88.3 FM is overjoyed to host FUNdrive 2024: Broadcast Beatdown! This annual fundraiser provides essential support to the station and emphasises the community centric, and foundational efforts made by the CKXU Staff and Volunteers to garner donations from our community. 

This fall, the fundraiser pulls influence from the rootin’-tootin’ world of Wrasslin’! We’re hoping to lay the smackdown on our jabroni expenses this year by utilizing our broadcast to give you a People’s Elbow of community-generated content. FUNdrive 2024: Broadcast Beatdown will possess the most powerful and electric programs fueled by the MILLIONS (and millions) of CKXU’s loyal fans. And if you’re not down with that I got two words for ya!

We invite the community to celebrate another year of FUNdrive with the CKXU Crew as we work to raise $15,000 to BEAT DOWN OUR BILLS! Making radio, keeping the broadcast equipment in tip-top shape, and maintaining our Broadcast tower lease and utilities accounts for 70% of our annual operating expenses and it’s thanks to amazing donors and donors-to-be (like YOU!) that we’re able to pay these bills and keep the good ol’ CKXU tunes a flowing!
